Sunday, 5/27 - Noon: Planting and fence raising
Join us Sunday at noon for planting, fence raising, and mulching. Can't make it? You are welcome to come and work at your convenience any time. There are bales of hay next to the garden for mulching the newly planted tomatoes and peppers (two rows of which are already in the ground.)
Pictures from our first weekend
Pictures of the garden clean-up and tilling are now available on our Facebook page.

Update
Topsoil is down, soil is tilled, and I'll be laying out the plots Friday afternoon. Everyone is welcome to join me around 1pm tomorrow to help out. After that, the garden will be open for planting. I'll send out another update when everything is ready.

Topsoil on the way - Your help needed!
The topsoil, a mixture of dirt, sand and compost, is being dropped off on Friday afternoon. We need to figure out how to get it on the garden. Machine or manpower--either way, it needs to get done. If you can help, please let us know.
(The soil is coming from Kurz Brothers in Westerville, which is graciously selling it to us at wholesale and dropping it off free of charge. We're very grateful for their contribution!)
